Review: Tommy Cabot Was Here by Cat Sebastian (The Cabots)
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I
loved everything about this book except the length. I usually don't
complain about something as pedestrian as the length of a book but this
one unfortunately suffered narratively by being way too short.
Everything felt as if it was just beginning and nothing really happened.
That being said, I really did love everything about this book.
Especially the amount of tears Tommy sheds for no reason, or, really,
for every reason ever. A weepy older main character is a lovely change
from the stoic manly man stuff that can come through in a romance.
In conclusion, I needed approximately 5 times the amount of pages with weeping Tommy being hugged by Everett.
