Interview With Rachel Reid - Famous Author of TIME TO SHINE
Rachel Reid is back to answer some new (or the exact same) interview questions in celebration of her brand new book TIME TO SHINE out now and available wherever you get books! And no, there is no Ilya or Shane in this book this is a BRAND NEW STANDALONE BOOK HOCKEY UNIVERSE! Yay! Anyway, onto the questions!
Horse Question 1: If Landon and Casey were actually thoroughbreds and racing the triple crown which one would win?
Rachel: Landon would win because he runs a lot and Casey hates running. If the horses were on skates Casey would win.
Horse Question 2: If Landon was a thoroughbred horse what would his horse show name be?
Rachel: The first thing that popped into my head was Daddy’s Little Sad Sack, but Landon deserves better. How about Unexpected Hero?
Regular Question 3: If you rewrote the book as a paranormal romance what would each character be?
Rachel: Casey would be a laid back and helpful ghost who is kind of annoying but is also good company. Landon would be a cursed vampire who hates being a vampire.
Regular Question 4: What are Casey's and Landon's favorite holidays?
Rachel: Casey is definitely a Christmas guy. I think Landon likes New Year’s Eve because it presents an opportunity for self-improvement and change.
Serious Question 5: How is the Luca book going lol
Rachel: It’s going slowly but I am trying to remind myself that this time last year I was struggling to get Time to Shine started too. So there is hope for Luca. I’m trying to wrap up the entire Game Changers series with this book, while also keeping the focus on Luca and his love interest, so it’s a challenge. Also this book hasn’t even been announced yet so…what Luca book? What are you talking about?
bonus question 6: Why Christmas?
Rachel: I never thought I would ever write a Christmas romance but since most of the story took place during November and December in a very wintery place, it just sort of happened. I don’t think Time to Shine is a true Christmas romance because Christmas isn’t the event the whole book is leading to. It’s more like a romance that happens to occur during the Christmas season.
