Taken by the Dark: An MM Dark Soulmates Romance about Ghosts and their Tentacles by Feral Thorne

Ghost with tentacles! Need I say more?

But seriously, I was pretty impressed with this short story. In only 50 pages or so, we get a full spooky, evocative story of a young guy and the ghost who used to live in his house. It's well-written and doesn't feel campy or overdone. This is in turn sad, creepy, hot and romantic. Yes, we even get a HFN! I kind of wished the ending was longer, so we could see more of what happens "after".

I highly recommend this to anyone who likes erotic horror or ghost possession story. Or tentacles. I'm looking for more from this author!

If you were here last year you may remember me saying I was going to stick with Hallmark movies instead of reading Christmas romance books in 2023. WELL GUESS WHAT. I lied. I watched basically zero Hallmark movies and read approximately three thousand Christmas books because I did not choose self-care. This year's crop of Christmas horrors was worse than last year's which is saying a lot. Even more death, even more mayhem, even less romance, and even more overly dramatic dingalings ruining Christmas for everyone around them but especially ruining it for me.
